I started working for Rupert’s in 2023 after 20 years working in NPD and the Food Industry. I specialise in ingredients and flavors and enjoy creating new and tasty recipes with the NPD team.
Outside of work, I am a keen Road Cyclist and spend as much time as I can cycling around Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire at the weekends. I also love to spend time with my family and going to gigs with friends. Music- Indie, Alternative, Hip-Hop Sports- Cycling, Running Film- Interstellar

Technical Assistant

I started working at Rupert’s in November 2022 as an assistant to the Technical and New Product Development managers. My role involves learning about the BRCGS standards, helping to make sure we adhere to them and working with the NPD manager to create samples, matches and salt testing. I use my previous experience and the sharp palate I gained as a line cook to help with the creation and identification of flavours.
Outside of work, cooking has always been a big part of my life, whether that’s following a new recipe, using a new ingredient I’ve never used before or making an old favourite. I feel working at Rupert’s is a great fit for me as it’s close to home, and it allows me to follow my passions when it comes to food.

I started working for Ruperts Ingredients in August 2022. My job role includes a variety of tasks, including assisting with the manufacturing process, day-to-day running of production, liaising with customers, exporting goods, booking goods out, and general office duties.
After leaving school, I went to College to study administration in 2002 and achieved NVQ Level 2. My biggest achievement is raising my three children and being a family unit. My favourite pastime is creating memories with my family, planning vacations, listening to music, watching TV/films, shopping, and exploring new places and restaurants with family and friends.

With a background in accountancy and finance - having previously worked in both practice and industry whilst gaining my AAT qualification - I joined Rupert’s in July 2021.
As Accounts Administrator, I deal with a variety of financial aspects of the business, such as timesheet processing, raising invoices, making payments, and costing products.
Away from the office, you will probably find me on the golf course or at a pub quiz.

I’ve been in the food industry now for over 16 years gaining skills and qualifications along the way, helping me progress in my career. I started out in the food industry as an operative moving up to factory manager.
From a young age, I’ve always had a love for cars and motorsports and completed a panel beating and paint spray qualification in college along with motorcycle mechanics, my career in this industry never really took off, and that’s when I started in the food industry. I like to spend my spare time outdoors with family and friends, mainly camping, walking, and visiting various motor events.
Coming from a Hungarian background, I’ve always had a taste for the cuisine and learning about their history, and I like to visit family there when possible.

Technical Manager

I started working with Rupert’s Ingredients at the end of 2021 after over ten years of working in catering and hospitality management, including event and wedding planning. Moving into food manufacturing was a change of direction for me, but one where I could utilise my existing skills and experience. As Technical Manager, my role is really varied and involves audits, compliance, training and much more.
I am a Fine Art graduate, and I enjoy visiting local, national, and international exhibitions. I am also a member of the Rotherham Society of Artists, where I continue to explore my own practice. I am a huge cinema and film fan, I enjoy reading, and I love live comedy, musicals, and the theatre.

Production Manager

I joined Rupert’s in 2015 as the Apprentice Business Administrator. At that time, we were still based out of our previous site, with only myself and Iftikhar and a handful of production operatives.
Over the next few years, I was able to carve out a niche within the business, moving towards Production. Fast forward to today, and I am now responsible for all Production and Operations at Rupert’s Ingredients.
Outside work, I enjoy socialising with friends and spending time with my family. A keen football fan, I follow my hometown team Barnsley FC wherever possible.

I have worked in the fast-food service industry for many years, specialising in FMCG operations, commercial sales, catering equipment and wholesale account management. I am known for partnering with food manufacturers and suppliers; over the years, I have developed an acclaimed reputation and am responsible for many successful food, takeaway and restaurant franchises in the UK and Ireland.
My portfolio includes many projects demonstrating valuable solutions to customers' needs, including turnkey store design, project management, investment planning, marketing, graphic design, and menu creation. My other work includes providing industry hardware, specialist commercial catering equipment and, in particular, food packaging, coatings, sauces, and marinades.
Since being employed by Rupert's Ingredients, I have continued to enhance my experiences and network of distributors, food groups & customers in the food service sector; my ultimate goal is to expand the formidable future of the company.

Having worked in the food ingredients sector all of my working life, I created Ruperts back in 2009. The name comes from the nickname my friends use for me; they say I dress and behave like a Rupert'. By that, I think they mean prim and proper!
The business was set up to service the smaller, more bespoke, and niche end of the market, customers who the big boys weren't really interested in. It's been hard work, but with the help of many along the way, we've thrived and continued to grow. Fortunately, I have a good team around me, and we all pull in the same direction.
My role is to keep an eye on the strategic direction of the business, capitalise on opportunities, and steer away from any storms on the horizon. The business's day-to-day running is in my team's capable hands.
