Brine

Brine

Brine is a mixture solution in water, often used for preserving food. The salt concentration in brine can vary depending on the application but typically ranges from 2% to 25%. Brining is soaking meats, fish, or vegetables in a brine solution to add flavour, tenderise the food, and help it retain moisture during cooking.
